AA Accessible MOSS publishing sites

One of ARF's key features is its ability to produce AA accessible SharePoint websites. It can fully replicate the HTML produced by your design agency, allowing you to concentrate on the website functionality.

No code development

It is entirely possible to create a complete SharePoint publishing site without having to write a single line of code. ARF allows you to create contact forms, queries, search, filters and paging without having written a single line of code.

Valid XHTML

Not only does ARF allow you to produce valid XHTML it can also 'fix' the HTML of other non ARF controls. This can be done selectively on the page, where only the required sections are 'fixed'.

Non invasive

ARF can be installed on your current site and it will not interfere with its operation. ARF does not include any HttpHandlers, EventHandler or anything that will change the way your site works. You can then choose to use the features you require in the areas of the site they are needed.

Over 30 controls

ARF comes with over 30 controls ready for you to use. These controls include...

• An XML based Menu control
• A visibility container, allowing the author to show and hide sections of the page
• A compatibility panel, allow you to 'fix' aspects of the rendered HTML of the contained controls
• An XML based calendar view, providing you with the ability to create accessible calendars.
• SearchBox and Results, make the search results appear how you want them to.

Caching

ARF contains a highly flexible caching mechanism, allow the layout designer to cache portions of a page for different periods and for different audiences. Every ARF control can be cached, either the XML or the HTML produced by the transformation, which can dramatically improve response times.

Fix SharePoint invalid HTML

SharePoint generates some invalid, non XHTML, code and ARF can be used to fix your final output. ARF will remove or fix any invalid SharePoint code, ensuring that you final website is fully XHTML and AA compliant.
